For over 20 years, The Evolution Championship Series (Evo), has produced the largest and longest-running fighting game tournament conventions in the world. Our events are rallying points where fans, publishers, developers, and brands celebrate fighting games and the communities that love them. Beyond our established live events, Evo’s mission continues to evolve to create, celebrate, and renew fighting game fandom.
As the Technical Director you will be responsible for the technical planning, development and execution of Evo's live broadcasts, select on-site experiences, studio productions and associated content creation. Over the course of your work you will collaborate with multiple teams at Evo alongside our globally located production partners to ensure that Evo productions are executed at a level that meets or exceeds the expectations of fighting game fans worldwide.
This role sits within the Evo Production team and will be working closely with all of our video production leaders to ensure effective feedback loops.
The ideal candidate has experience leading a team of engineers, designing various broadcast technical infrastructures, overseeing live streams, and working on international productions.
You will report to Evo’s Head of Production.
The salary for this role is $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 based on experience.
