Type: Per Diem 1099 Independent Contractor Specialty: Help children/youth better understand and express their feelings, emotions, behaviors, etc. through creative and kinesthetic treatment. Responsibilities: Conduct individual and group sessions to support children in coping with their healthcare experiences. Design and implement therapeutic programs to meet the emotional and developmental needs of pediatric patients. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Maintain detailed, accurate records of therapy sessions, patient progress, and outcomes. Foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages children to express their feelings and develop coping strategies. Qualifications: Certified Child Life Specialist with certification through the Child Life Council. Experience working with the Medically Fragile pediatric population is highly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
